Valentine’s Day has come and gone but for the loved up couples that got engaged on the 14th February, the fun is just beginning! Whilst you may be ticking the big things off the lists, here are some little things that can get missed:

Thank You Cards

One of the great things about getting married has to be the gifts!  But thanking everyone when you come back from honeymoon is not quite so much fun. Why not order the thank you cards when you order your invites? Then keep a list of who gave you what and it will be an easier job after coming back down to earth

Wedding Favours and thank you gifts

If you are treating your guests to wedding favours then we can provide you with a range of glass jars for wedding favours - simply fill with sweets or homemade goodies.  If you have been following us on Twitter you’ll know that we’ve been loving marmalade over the last couple of months and homemade gifts like these are perfect for making wedding guests feel special.

Transport

It’s easy to focus on how you’re going to get to the church, but organising a minibus for your guests would make their trips a little easier, and allow them to relax during the evening reception, a plus all round!

Wedding Music

The music will make the night and, whether you’re going for a band, or providing your own music and playlists, it’s important to get it right. Why not ask for selections when you send out the invitations? It’s a lovely way for guests to feel part of your special day and means that more people are likely to get on the dance floor!

Table décor

Unknown

If you choose to do this yourself you can save a bundle and really make it personal. You can beautify jam jars very easily with lace, ribbon or twine, find some inspiration here. You can buy jam jars in bulk from the Bottle Company South or use our glass bottles with a single flower for a simple but effective table decoration.
